MARLA is an Acronym composed of the first letters of the names of the family members who taught them to cook and bake. Food does not spring forth from the ether, it is informed and shaped by the past and is as much of a product of a memory as ingredients.
Their Food is Thoughtfully Crafted. They use fresh ingredients that are locally farmed and procured fresh and driven by each season, the environment, locally grown organic produce, meats, fish, flours, eggs, milk, and butter.
Marla is closing their restaurant in San Francisco in November and moving to Santa Rosa in the new year. We cannot wait. "
