We are pleased to announce the first edition of OPaf (Other Places art fair) North, Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Juilliard Park, Santa Rosa, California. OPaf North is a one day gathering of contemporary art project spaces and artists with a focus on projects based in Northern California in a fully outdoor setting open to the public... and Miracle Plum will be pouring natural wine for the event!
OPaf North will feature twenty unconventional art projects and spaces sharing site specific sculptures, artworks, art books, published materials, sound installations and performances throughout the day in an open, immersive, and interactive art fair on the lawns of Juilliard Park.
Some highlights at this year’s inaugural event include printed handouts by Ben Kinmont’s Antinomian Press, an amplified tree soundscape by Jen Boyd, artist designed flags exhibited by Harborview and Pole, impromptu woodwind performances by Los Angeles Wood Wind Skill Share, an encouragement booth by Peptoc : the students of West Side Elementary in Healdsburg, wheelbarrow rides around the fair provided by Brian & Ryan : Wheelbarrow Valet, a Drawing Sound performance by Fred Frith and Heike Liss, and organic and bio-diverse wine provided by Miracle Plum.
