It's going to be a SALAD PARTY!
We know you think you know how to make salad, but you dont.
While composing a melange of tasty tidbits might seem a no-brainer, in this back to basics class we will be exploring some crucial basics that will elevate your salads to new heights. How do you make a perfect vinaigrette? What about the workings of the ubiquitous and ever delicious Caesar? Can a salad actually fill you up? The answer to all these questions and more will be answered! The class will end with a salad eating frenzy accompanied wine of course. You will leave this class with some salad dressings and loads of salad inspiration.
Our very own Joni Davis is leading the class. Joni has always been inspired by the beauty and bounty of Northern California. Born and raised in Sonoma County, she developed a deep appreciation for kitchen magic at a young age. This love of making good things to eat has sustained her throughout her life as an independent musician and kitchen professional. Joni has a bachelor’s in music from Goldsmith’s College, University of London and a Certificate in Baking and Pastry from Santa Rosa Junior College. She has been cooking and baking professionally since 2011, and teaching since 2019.
