This is the fourth round of the MP Cookbook Club. We are excited to announce that the book we’ll be cooking and exploring food from over the next few months is We Are La Cocina, Recipes in Pursuit of the American Dream. This beautiful book highlights over 40 stories from some of the graduates of this amazing culinary program based close to the shop, in San Francisco. La Cocina has been an incubator program that has helped so many women used their talent, and their food, to pursue economic freedom. Many alumni have gone on to open brick and mortar restaurants in the bay area that should definitely be on your ongoing list of restaurants to try.

We’ll be offering 10% off all copies purchased at the shop through September 10th. Get your hands on a copy now and enjoy pouring through the inspiring stories and test out the recipes from the luxury of your own home kitchen. Then gather back at Miracle Plum, on September 15th, for a potluck and book discussion.

*We have have a cubby at the shop all stocked with supplies to help you execute some of these delicious dishes at home.
